We checked out the Breville VKT143 New York Collection Kettle, and it’s pretty cool! It’s a good-looking kettle with a smooth black surface and some fancy black metal parts that feel bumpy. It reminds us of the tall buildings in New York City!

You can even get a toaster that looks just like it to match them together. This kettle would be a great thing to have in your kitchen at home or in your mom or dad’s office kitchen. It makes everything look nicer!

• Capacity – It can hold up to 1.7 litres of water, like 8 cups of tea or hot chocolate.
• Size – It’s about as tall as a big book, i.e. 22.5cm, a bit wider than a ruler, i.e. 16.0cm, and a little longer than a shoebox, i.e. 26.0cm.
• Super-fast Boil – It heats water quickly, so you can make tea rapidly before going to school or when your family visits. It won’t make you wait long!
• Illumination – When you turn it on, the bottom and the window where you see the water will light up in a beautiful white colour, just like the bright lights in New York City.
• ‘Hidden’ Push Button for Lid – On the handle is a push button which softly opens the hinged lid. The button blends in well with the handle, adding to the style.
• Concealed Element – The heating element is concealed, improving the safety and visual appeal of the inside of the kettle.

This kettle is perfect and looks nice. We had the Breville VKT143 New York Collection Matte Black colour kettle to test, which looked trendy. It can hold water, is 1.7 litres, and boils super-fast because it has 3 kW power.

To open the lid, press a little hidden button on the handle. It’s like a secret switch! The window to see how much water is inside is behind the handle. Some people might like that, and some might not.

Here’s something stylish about this kettle: it has a bright white light around the bottom when it’s heating up. It’s like a sign that says, “Hey, the kettle is getting hot!” It can be helpful if you have kids or someone can’t see very well. Of course, like all kettles, it makes a noise when boiling the water.

We liked how this kettle looks simple and neat. Although it’s not economical for everyone, it’s well-made and looks fancy.

Breville VKT143 New York Collection Kettle: What could be better?

The Breville VKT143 kettle looks fantastic, like it’s from a long time ago, “retro,” and it’s made well.

But we were surprised when we read that it has a “cordless base” in the product information. It made us wonder if it could magically heat up without a cord! But the base did have a cord when it came, which was confusing because it wasn’t what we expected.

The cord on the kettle we got comes out from the base, making it shorter. It effectively reduces the usable length of the cord from 31.5″ to 24″. It might be a mistake in how it was made. So, it would help to consider where your power outlet is when you put the kettle in your kitchen.

One more thing to think about is whether it’s worth the money. We’re curious if you need a kettle that looks so fancy because what’s most important is how it works, especially in our kitchen.

The Breville VKT143 New York Collection kettle is substantial and works like other modern kettles. It has all the things we usually find in kettles. We like it and give it a score of 4.5 out of 5 stars. It’s almost perfect!
